Animal day
Animal day was organized at Pre-Primary Wing of Sanctorum Higher School. The students from class Pre-Nursery to 1st participated in the event. Animal day celebrates humankind’s unique relationship with the animal kingdom, and acknowledge the numerous ways in which animals enrich our lives. It indeed created a curiosity among the children as they were dressed up in different costume of animals. It was a great way to help children know more about animals. Students also participated in different program which were themed on animals. The school also showcased the real animals to students like cat, sheep, goat, rabbits, hens, parrot, pigeon etc. The assisting teacher gave the brief demonstration about the animals like what do they eat, how do they walk, what is their life span and much more. The main key point to organize this event was to aware children about the importance of animals in our lives and how to protect them. Over all it was a very learning experience for the students.
